Tournament runs from 7am-10am.

You may fish from the banks of the river on or around Goat Island Park OR may fish by boat in the waters of the South Fork surrounding Goat Island Park.

You do not need a fishing license to participate but need your own equipment.

FISHING RULES:
1. Fishing permits are NOT required.
2. Adults are welcome to help their child fish BUT the child must reel the fish in.
3. The fishing tournament is catch-and-release.
4. There are no restrictions on fishing bait or lures used for the tournament.
5. There are no limits on the number of fishing poles that you bring.
6. You can fish anywhere on the park or by boat on the waters surrounding the park.
7. Awards will be given for biggest, smallest, and most fish caught in both the adult and youth age divisions. To be eligible for an award, the participant must reel in the fish himself/herself.
8. Please dispose of all trash.
9. Fish must be brought to staff working the event for official weigh-in of the fish.
10. All fish must be caught with a rod and reel. NO NETS OR TRAPS.
11. In the event of a tie, winners will be selected by the FIRST person to bring in the smallest, largest, and most fish.
12. All fish must be weighed in by 10am. Being in line at 10am is not the same as having all fished weighed in by 10am.
